About me
Hello! I'm Leslie Fitzpatrick and I teach 7th grade Language Arts at Kannapolis Middle School. This is my classroom website for student use and to showcase student work. This is my 4th year teaching at KMS and I just love working with my students on reading and writing.
My background: I'm originally from a tiny town in Ohio called Greenfield (bonus points if you've ever heard of it!). I graduated from Ohio University in 2006, Go Bobcats! My degree is in Middle Childhood Language Arts and Social Studies. One of my favorite things to do is read historical fiction.
I'm currently pursuing a masters degree in reading from UNC Charlotte.
I'm married to my wonderful husband of 4 years, Chris, and we just had our first daughter, Ella. My hobbies are basically anything that involves crafts: quilting, knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, and painting. I enjoy playing Nintendo Wii when I have time. I like going to the park and walking my dogs, Gizmo and Charlotte.
